New ideas

We have had a couple of ideas suggested.
A common denominator I see is that people want to fix up the appearance of the downtown.
This is something the city would like to do as well, but the costs are incredible.
Another problem is out of town landlords who don't want to spend anything on the buildings.

A citizens group could do a lot of good. I hope one will form.

Those old buildings downtown are a valuable resource. They are deteriorating though, and if action is not taken, they could be lost. That would be a major tragedy.

How could we go about doing something?

What could a committee do ?

thoughts anyone ?

This isn't so much an idea as a very interesting website to read through... http://www.cyburbia.org/

It talks about growth, land planning and other issues that are facing our town.

One of the best things we can do as citizens is educate ourselves.
